Alleged gun-runner yields 3 guns, shabu in Laguna bust

LUCENA CITY — Police arrested an alleged gun runner in a buy-bust operation on Thursday, Sept. 5, and seized three illegal firearms and shabu (crystal meth) in Biñan City, Laguna.

The Region 4A police reported that “Jessele” was nabbed at 3:50 a.m. in Barangay San Vicente after he offered an undocumented caliber .45 gun with a magazine to the police agent posing as a buyer for P11,000.

After his arrest, the suspect also yielded one caliber .9mm pistol loaded with three bullets, one improvised shotgun, and two 12-gauge bullets.
