Fernando Amorsolo painting stolen from Silay City museum

MANILA, Philippines — An 88-year-old Fernando Amorsolo painting has been snatched from the Hofileña Museum in Silay City, Negros Occidental.

Silay Heritage, a group of cultural advocates, has appealed to the public for any information regarding the whereabouts of the painting called “Mango Harvesters.”

“Please help in the recovery of this important piece of Philippine art. If you have information please contact 09985987443 / 09989674432 (Silay PNP) or report to the nearest authorities,” the group’s July 5 social media post reads
